What is Sokoban?

This is a truly classic puzzle game combining elements of spatial reasoning and logic activities. In this game, you move around a warehouse-style grid, pushing crates and boxes onto target spots. How to Play

Control the character using the arrow keys to move in the four cardinal directions. The goal is to push crates into target locations marked on the floor. But push crates-without-pull! 1. Always look two steps ahead. Know where you are going to move next before pushing a crate.

4. One crate at a time: focus on one crate first before proceeding with the second.
5. Walls are your friend: use them to block crates and clear the way for your next assignment.

History

Sokoban began in 1980s Japan, inspired by the well-established puzzle game Puyo Puyo, with "Sokoban" coming from the Japanese word "soko" meaning warehouse. Its gameplay, while simply designed, proved to be too much against the establishment over time. Since then, Sokoban has been adapted for almost every platform, thus becoming an inspiration for many similar puzzle titles.
