What is Autoliiga?
Autoliiga is a mixture of sensations and very interesting blend of soccer, but with cars! A two-player game sprinting against time developed as a school project that converted this innovative, yet fun idea into execution. Imagine the adrenaline rush of car-driven soccer as you zoom across the field, outmaneuver opponents, and legally score goals.
How to Play
Car control in Autoliiga is rather simple and convenient with a few mechanisms. Your main action options are:
- Drive: Steering your car with the arrow keys to the desired directions.
- Turbo: Hitting your special turbo button gives you a temporary boost in performance.
- Move Turbo: Turbo enables you to make quick moves with your car during the game, making sure that you are always in the right place to implement the next plan.
The basic objective is to outscore your opponent by driving your car to kick the ball into their goal. The game flows fast, requiring a blend of swift reflexes and tactical thinking.
Tips & Tricks
- Use Turbo Wisely: Keep your turbo use in check. It either makes the difference between slapping a goal and missing one.
- Positioning: Humble yourselves, so good positioning becomes your second nature, ready to intercept the ball or make plays.
- Anticipate your Opponent’s Moves: Predict where your opponent will go, so you can create chance opportunities on the opposing side.
- Practice Makes Perfect: Just like any game, the more you practice, the better you become. Spend some time familiarizing yourself with controls and movement.
History
Autoliiga was created as a somewhat creative school project intending to put together the thrill of soccer and the fun of car racing. Although Autoliiga doesn't have a long history associated with those of classic sports games, it remains a unique and attractive title to represent the possibility of innovative game design ideas.
