What Is Reversi?

Reversi is an alternate name for Othello-an ancient classic two-player strategy board game which is as simple as it is yet deep. On a checkboard 8×8 squares in size, the opponent is outsmarted by flipping his/her pieces to the color of your own; basically flipping means scoring points by either trapping the opponent's pieces between two of his own and changing the orientation of the opponent's pieces with each move. The game becomes one of wits and patience with a little luck, perfect for quick matches or longer and more thoughtful sessions.

How to Play

The two players have two pieces each set respectively in opposite corners of the board, one is black and the other is white. The pieces indeed flanked are then converted to his color. The game ends when one can no longer make another move; the basic basis of winning is the most pieces on the board by the player.
